Haha! I actually made this post much earlier today, and I’m just now posting it (it’s evening here in NY). Anyway, as stressful as the topics of politics can sometimes be, especially depending on the current ruler of the nation, they are indeed essential. It’s definitely better to be informed about the important matters of politics than to be ignorant of them. We should remember also that journalists experience the stress of political issues just as much as the rest of us do. Truth be told, if it wasn’t for them reporting on current political issues, we surely would be ignorant of the most important matters concerning our government. Thank goodness in the US there’s the First Amendment, which includes “freedom of the press.” We must keep protecting it.
