Reparations, and End the Oppression!

Reparation also means to repair. So, along with reparations, actually END the oppression. This means reforming schools, housing/environment, job opportunities/equal opportunity, the justice system, laws regarding racism, and several other areas of living of which there is currently oppression against black and brown people. For understanding the topic of reparations in-depth, particularly in regards to African Americans, I recommend reading the article “The Case for Reparations” by Ta-Nehisi Coates and also the article “Why we need reparations for Black Americans” by Rashawn Ray and Andre M. Perry. Reparations (which must include also ending the present-day oppression that’s occurring against those groups of people, including upon their decedents) are essential for making amends for the previous wrongs that have been committed and for improving the livelihoods and living standards of those in the present and future generations, all of whom are currently being affected by or will be affected by the past oppressions. I support REPARATIONS for black and indigenous populations! Make AMENDS for the wrongs that have been done and END the oppression that’s happening right now against black and brown populations (including indigenous peoples).
