Winter Storms (Actual Winter Storms This Time)

Also, prayers for the residents of Texas and elsewhere in the south. These winter storms are nothing to take lightly. Southern states must be prepared for them too, at least as emergency-preparedness. In New York, the city plows are out on the streets right away when there’s more than a few inches of snow. They have to be otherwise we would be stuck at home all winter. Independent snowplow drivers are usually not far away either, and if you don’t see one you can find them in the newspaper and elsewhere. The electricity and phone companies are prepared too, also the shelters. With the climate changing, there’s no telling what will happen exactly. They must be prepared from now on. It’s terrible that some of the residents have died, and I hope things will improve as the winter days continue.
