Boycotts for Change.

JFK was a progressive president, but we hardly hear about him. Hmm, I wonder why. On to the point of this post: Protests are essential! They get the message out. However, people have been rioting since the 60s (and before that). I don’t think any of that works to bring change, but plummeting the economy does. Boycotts! Watch the video. (BTW, I got the term “Wear old clothes” from the video, a statement on one of the signs a woman was holding.) How To/My Ideal Boycott: #ShopSmall #ShopIndie. Buy only groceries and bare necessities from the grocery stores. F* the big corporations! Forget fashion (forget clothing/forget shoes/forget accessories), forget home décor, etc, or buy only indie/shopsmall and thrift stores (wash well). For indie stores/small stores, check out Etsy.com. Also, keep supporting your favorite entertainers/artists. We appreciate them and their art. We need it, especially during this time. If you make posts for boycotts this summer, please use at least the following hashtags so people can find them: #Boycott, #BoycottSummer2021, #BoycottforReform, and #Boycotts. [I recommend also watching “President John F. Kennedy’s Civil Rights Address,” available on C-Span (via Youtube).]
