Wow, it’s heavy what’s happening in Afghanistan. Well, considering that the US government found it perfectly alright to give $735 million in arms sale to Israel, knowing without a doubt that they’re committing genocide against the Palestinians, but all the while pretending like they’re not, it all seems quite odd that they’ve been in Afghanistan all these years for the sake of protecting the women and girls from far-right Islamic oppression. I’m hoping for the best. We’ll see how it all unfolds. Along with that, I’m appreciating the Afghan women activists who are telling it like it really is. They’re speaking directly from what they’ve witnessed and their own personal experiences. The lady in the video is Pashtana Durrani, and she spoke about the matter in an interview on Al Jazeera. She said yes, they feel abandoned and explained further about the realities of it. Much appreciation for Pashtana’s courage in speaking out.
