Beyond the album itself being uniquely brilliant, MIA should definitely win an award for her song “Popular.” Watch the video. That song is so real it hurts just to think about it. Unfortunately, some misunderstand its meaning, but considering all that’s been happening, it makes perfect sense. The end of the video itself is angering but is essentially educational.
